 This is a great puzzle. Well made and far harder than it looks! Suitable for adults and children. A younger child would really struggle to complete i  think but my 7 yr old daughter likes having a try in a simpler version than the proper rules. I gave one to my Dad for Xmas and he is yet to manage to complete it!


The Tower of Hanoi is one of the great classic puzzles. Invented by French mathematician Eduardo Lucas in 1883.


The basic problem is to move a stack of different sizes piece from one post to another: Moving one piece at a time, and never placing a larger piece on a smaller piece. Three is the minimum, and usual, number of postsRules - move the tower of pieces from one end to the other. Only moving 1 piece at  a time and a smaller piece can only go on a larger piece!
